Walkies is built by Neofox Media Pvt. Ltd. for dog parents who want to track daily walks. This policy explains what data we collect, what we do with it, and the controls you have.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and, optionally, your name. If you sign in with Apple, your Apple-issued subject identifier is stored instead of (or alongside) your email.
- Dog profiles: name, breed, size, weight, sex, optional birthday, and an optional photo, all entered by you.
- Walk data: GPS location samples recorded while a walk is armed, plus derived stats (distance, pace, duration, step count from your iPhone's motion sensor).
- Device info: battery percentage and a device identifier we generate, used to attribute walks to your dog.
What we never do
- We do not record location when no walk is armed.
- We do not share your data with advertisers. There are no tracking SDKs in the app.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
Where it lives
Your data is stored on servers operated by us in India. The Walkies iOS app caches your account, dogs, and unsent walk points on your device.
How long we keep it
Account, dog and walk data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete Account), we mark your record for deletion immediately and permanently remove it within 30 days. Active sessions are revoked at the moment of deletion.
Your controls
- Background location: You can revoke "Always" location access in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Walkies at any time. Without it, walks can only be recorded while the app is on screen.
- Account deletion: Settings → Delete Account in the app permanently deletes your account and all associated dogs and walks.
- Data export: Email us if you'd like a copy of your walks as CSV/GPX.
Children
Walkies is intended for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date above and notify you in-app on next sign-in.
